The bare-faced cheek of politicians is again spectacularly demonstrated by National's Maureen Pugh (Greymouth Star, 8 March) in her attack on the new government regarding lack of action on the long-awaited Westport health facility.
Several years ago interest on loans cost the DHBs well over $100 million a year. No doubt it has increased substantially since then.
