Democrats for social credit are committed to:

• An independent, publicly owned broadcasting system, without advertising, to function alongside the commercial networks.

• Providing entertainment, education and cultural programmes free from political interference or manipulation by vested financial interests.

• The development of Community and Regional Trusts to promote broadcasting and newspapers at a local and regional level.

• Equal time for Government statements and parties in opposition to reply. Smaller parties that won more than half the MMP threshold vote will be given a proportionate amount of time.

• Preventing any organisation or business from holding controlling interest in more than one medium or media group.

• No political poll published for 14 days prior to a parliamentary election.
