The DSC membership continues to promote our primary message of Economic Sovereignty to New Zealanders and support initiatives that:
|
|
REVITALISE REGIONAL CENTRES AND COMMUNITIES
• by opposing the sale of remaining local assets, funding initiatives, and ensuring that wealth generated locally is used for community enhancement.
PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE THE SMALL BUSINESS SECTOR
• by reducing compliance costs and limiting unfair overseas competition.
GIVE NEW HEART TO FAMILY FARMERS
• by working in cooperation with the industry in financing, research and development.
HALT ANY FURTHER DECLINE IN HEALTH AND EDUCATION SYSTEMS
• by adequately funding allied to early health awareness and educational excellence.
GUARANTEE THE AFFORDABILITY OF PROJECTS FOR OUR THREATENED ENVIRONMENT
• by the promotion of sensible and affordable local body finance.
ENSURE THAT WE HAVE CONTROL OVER OUR ECONOMIC WELL-BEING
• by stopping the sale of our remaining strategic assets, such as water and electricity and by changes to the Reserve Bank Act.
